Temporary deactivation of MCTR Kbely and activation of ATZ Letňany: From 30th of October to 31th of October 2025
From 30th of October 2025 0700 UTC to 31 of October 2025 1700 UTC, the Kbely military airport (LKKB) will be closed due to repairs to the air traffic services station’s power supply.
During this period, the MAPP Kbely and MTWR Kbely stations will also be temporarily out of service. During this period, MTMA Kbely and MCTR Kbely will cease to exist and the airspace class will change to “G” and “E” and ATZ Letňany will be temporarily established (see also VFR SUP 24/25 – AD LKLT).
The largest operational change is the SOUTHERN CIRCLE, due to internal matters of the company ANS in CTR Praha Ruzyně with the activation of TRAGA 1N. The TRAGA1N area located in the LKPR CTR cannot be activated and all traffic is routed via the Kbely airport base, outside the stalled areas of Satalice and Kbely.
The arrangement of air traffic during the deactivation of LKKB is chosen so that, apart from the flight circuit directions, it has the least possible impact on the pilots’ habits experienced over the years.

The points MIKE, LIMA, UNIFORM, ROMEO, BOREK and Kostelec will remain and due to air traffic management, these points must still be used
The minimum horizontal flight altitude in ATZ LKLT is 1700ft AMSL
